【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforhelmetsusedbyshorttrackspeediceskaters(excludinghockey).Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityoflightweightconstructionandventilation;however,itisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.1.2AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.1.3Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationmustbeacertificationthattheheadgearmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationintheirentirety.Aheadgearthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthespecification,andshallnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthespecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
