【摘要】:Thisguidecoversperformanceandminimumscopeofassemblyofallmediumspeedmarinedieselenginesintendedformainpropulsionofsingleormultiplescrewpropelledmarinevesselsorforvesselsusingotherthanscrewpropeller-typemainpropulsion.Thisguideisintendedtosupplementtheregulationsoflegallyconstitutedregulatingauthorities.Intheeventofanyconflict,whichmaybecomeapparentafterpublicationofthisguide,withsuchlegallyconstitutedregulations,thelattershalltakeprecedence,asmaybeapplicablewithinthejurisdictionofsuchauthoritiesandspecifictoeachcase,unlesssuchlatterregulationsareformallywaivedbypropercognizantauthority.Thisguideisnotintendedtorelievethepurchaseroftheobligationfullytoadvisetheenginebuilderofallofthepurchaser'suniqueoperationalconsiderationstoallowthoseconsiderationstobesatisfied.
